The instrument
The string moves before the sound arrives
The cello is the instrument that comes closest to the human voice, and that is where I work from: looking for the phrase before the note, the silence before the entrance.
I hold a degree in Music Education from UNIRIO and work as a chamber musician, orchestral player and soloist, and I have taught cello since 2021. In recent years that has taken me to the stage of the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro, to Rádio MEC, to the orchestra of a running musical, and to classrooms in social projects in Complexo do Alemão.
It is all the same craft.

Cello is taught up close
I have taught since 2021, in private schools and in social projects — the same technique, with the care of someone who knows that not every student has an instrument at home. I hold continuing education in collective string teaching with Carla Rincon, Claudio Cruz and Alceu Reis.
